ATV rides are available at Kipu Ranch in Lihue, you have a choice of 2 different tours and 5 different all terrain vehicles, from the one person ATV, the two passenger 'Bomber' ATV of the year, the two and four passenger Yamaha 'Rhino' and the Kawasaki 'Mule'.
The two tours available are as follows:
Kipu Ranch Tour, 3 hours.
This wonderful tour is the more popular of the two, with a beautiful tour through the diverse landscape of Kipu Ranch. You'll see a variety of wildlife including cattle, wild pigs, pheasants peacocks and wild turkeys.
The highlights of this tour include the many locations you will recognize from your favorite Hollywood films. The tour guides are always on hand to keep you safe, make you feel comfortable and share their knowledge and experience of the local area.
Tour departs at 7am and 1:30pm
Kipu Ranch tour includes:
Instruction & Practice, Cattle, wild pigs, pheasants, peacocks & turkeys! Tour Hollywood movie locations, views of famous Kipu Kai & Hule'ia river.
Great for beginners or experienced riders.
Kipu Ranch Adventures provides:
Drinks & snacks, helmets, goggles and bandannas.
What to Bring: Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (tennis or water shoes OK), insect repellent, sunscreen, camera.
Waterfall Picnic Tour, 4 hours.
This is a beautiful way to spend the afternoon, a 4 hour ATV tour to some of the most famous locations in movie history coupled with the amazing views over Kipu Ranch, this is not a moment to forget your camera!
Finally, with a private waterfall to relax in and cool down from the warm blanket of heat from the tropical rainforest you can stop and enjoy a picnic lunch. With some of the more challenging terrain this tour is for the more adventurous.

Please note: Waterfalls and stream conditions are subject to the weather. Heavy rains can make swimming unsafe and droughts reduce waterflow considerably.

Choose from these vehicles for your ride:
ATV: Single-rider Honda 400 AT fully automatic ATV. Must be 16 years old with valid picture ID with date of birth.
Bomber: 2-passenger ATV Bombardier MAX. Driver must be 18 years & Above. Passenger must be 12 years & above. If the passenger is under 18 years old, the driver must be 21 years and over. Driver must bring a valid picture ID with date of birth. Maximum total weight is 400 lbs.
Rhino: 2-passenger side-by-side 660cc Yamaha Rhino. Driver must be 18 years old with valid picture ID with date of birth. Passenger must be at least 5 years old. If passenger is under 18 years old, the driver must be 21 years and over.
Rhino Safari: A favorite for families. 4 passenger seating. Driver must be 21 years old with valid picture ID with date of birth. Passenger must be at least 5 years old.
Backseat Passengers must not exceed 200 lbs in total weight.
Ranger: Guide driven vehicle only. Ranger passengers must be 5 years and over.

From the North (Princeville) or East (Kapaa & Wailua) shores:
Head south on HWY 56 into the town of Lihue, here HWY 56 runs into HWY 50. Follow HWY 50 through the town of Phui and turn left at the 3 mile marker (KIPU sign). Go 1/4 mile and take the first right (KIPU road, also NO OUTLET sign) cross over a small bridge and follow to the top. Take a right at the Kipu Ranch sign and pull into the first driveway. DO NOT go past the pine tress or monument.
From the South (Poipu or Koloa) or Wast (Waimea) shores:
Head East towards the town of Lihue on HWY 50. Turn right after the Kauai Humane Society (Animal Shelter) on the "Lihue Alternative" road. Go 1/4 mile and take the first right (KIPU road, also NO OUTLET sign) cross over a small bridge and follow to the top. Take a right at the Kipu Ranch sign and pull into the first driveway. DO NOT go past the pine tress or monument.
