Relax and enjoy the beautiful waters of Kealakekua Bay on this beautiful tour departing from Honokohau Harbor. You will have the chance to discover the beautiful seascape with beautiful sea caves, lava tubes and amazing wildlife both above and below the water.
Trained professional captains will guide you and entertain you with their vast knowledge of the wildlife and tales of Hawaiian folklore as you travel out to the pristine waters of Kealakekua Bay. On the tour we often see Whales (during the winter), dolphins, flying fish turtles and an abundance of beautiful reef fish.
Our destination is Kealakekua Bay, which is a National Marine Park and the site of the Captain Cook Monument. This area is one of Hawaii's premier snorkel spots with incredible visibility and calm conditions.
What to Know
Check in: 8:00am or 12:45pm at the Honokohau Marina.
Tour duration: 4 hours (8:15am - 12:15pm or 1:00pm - 5:00pm)
Includes: All snorkel gear, high quality silicone masks, Rx masks, fins, float boards and detailed instructions. Tropical snacks of fresh pineapple, fruits, chips, cookies and assortment of beverages (soda, juice, water).
Please bring: towel, a light cover up, sunscreen, hat or visor, sunglasses, and camera.
Passengers sit on the side pontoons and each boat will hold up to 16 passengers.
Restrictions: Due to the bouncy nature of ocean rafting we do not allow pregnant women or people with back or neck problems on our tours.
Children under 4 are also prohibited.

Captain Zodiac is located in the Honokohau Marina and small boat harbor located approximately 5 miles south of the Kona Airport (3rd traffic light) and approximately 2 miles north of the town of Kailua-Kona ( 2nd traffic light).
The harbor entrance (Kealakehe Street) can be found by looking for a sign on the highway marked "HONOKOHAU MARINA" between mile markers 97 and 98. After turning onto Kealakehe Street make your first right and look for a mall with a blue tile roof. Our office is the first in the mall on the right.
