Introducing an incredible horseback/helicopter combination tour! This incredible journey begins at the 1,000 foot level at the Mendes Ranch. Mount up and ride through verdant mountainsides to view the waterfalls of Waihee Valley. Next, continue across cattle fields to the lower half of the ranch descending upon the incredible ocean views of Maui's spectacular north shore. Ride along the shoreline with crashing waves. Enjoy a real paniolo style, open pit BBQ lunch and refreshments. Then experience views from above, exploring the lush West Maui Mountains and cascading waterfalls on Sunshine Helicopter's 30 minute tour.

Check in: 7:45 am at the Kahului Heliport.
Tour Duration: Return at approximately 1:00pm.
The maximum weight limit is 250 lbs.

You have a choice of:
The Astar helicopter is a standard six seat helicopter (four back and two forward).
The WhisperSTAR helicopter boasts more room, more plexiglass for better viewing and elevated rear seats. Choose either open seating or first class seating with extra arm and leg room.

You will need to leave your car at the Kahului Heliport during your tour, parking fee is $7.00 (subject to change).

From the Lahaina/Kaanapali Area:
Take Highway 30 to Highway 380, turn right.
Follow 380 to Highway 36, turn right.
From Highway 36 go approximately 3 miles and turn left at the first intersection onto Highway 37.
Go straight ahead and the road ends at the Kahului Heliport.
From Kihei/Wailea Area: Take Highway 31 to 311 and turn right.
Follow 311 to Highway 380 and turn right onto Highway 380 (Dairy Road).
Follow 380 to Highway 36 (Hana Highway), turn right.
From Highway 36 go approximately 3 miles and turn left at the first intersection onto Highway 37 (Haleakala Highway).
Go straight ahead and the road ends at the Kahului Heliport.
