Taking a sailplane ride is possibly the closest feeling you can experience to what an eagle must feel like soaring through the air. Once we tow you up into the clear blue Hawaiian skies you'll be unhooked and left to glide through the skies. The first thing you will notice is the amazing lack of any sound, the only background noise is the rushing sound of the wind which propels you through the skies.
You have the choice between three different types of rides, the scenic tour, the lesson ride and the aerobatic ride. You also have the choice to have two passengers (total combined weight must be less than 350lbs) on the scenic tour. The three types of tours are explained below:
Scenic Ride
The north shore of Oahu is one of the most perfect places on the planet to enjoy soaring through the air in a sailplane. With consistent trade winds and beautiful sunny Hawaiian days for most of the year its no wonder that many world records for sailplane riding have been set in this unique airspace. The longer the tour you choose the higher we can take you up and the more you will be able to see and enjoy! This is available for either 1 passenger or 2 passengers. The price reflects the per person rate.
Lesson Ride
This ride gives you the chance to take the controls for as long as you like weather permitting. You'll take the controls and learn the basic flying maneuvers, this is a great way to add an extra thrill to your flight. Your introductory lesson can be logged as flight time on a complimentary logbook sheet.
Aerobatic Ride
This ride is for the adventurous only. You will strap on a parachute and climb into the cockpit along with an experienced. You control the ride deciding how many aerobatic maneuvers you want, choose if you prefer it mild or wild. With up to 4G's pushing you into your seat this is one wild ride!
The All-In-One Combo Ride
This is the ultimate one passenger ride where we combine all three rides into one. The Scenic, Aerobatic, and Lesson Ride will all be experienced on the all-in-one combo ride.
