Te Pahu Mana, The Spirit of the Drum
Pitah Production presents Te Pahu Mana, the spirit of the drum reverberates through countless generations carrying the rhym and stories of the ancient ones of Polynesia. Experience the pulsating drum dances of Tahiti, the rhythmic sounds of Hawaii's drum, the hula Pahu, a visit with our Maori cousins of Aotearoa as the evening culminates with the exciting drums that accompanies the dangerous HOT flaming sword of Samoa, "Siva Afi" the Samoan Fire knife dance.
The elaborate banquet features both traditional Hawaiian delicacies, such as fresh sweet pineapple, kalua pig, lomi salmon, pipikaula, poke and poi, as well as dishes that are inspired by the numerous ethnic foods that are enjoyed by the people of modern Hawaii, such as Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino and Thai-inspired foods. The abundant spread is perfectly finished with desserts featuring tropical island flavors like guava chiffon pie, coconut coated haupia, pineapple upside down cake and chocolate macadamia nut cake.
