Horse back riding in Kauai is a beautiful experience, with amazing scenery that has hosted some of the blockbuster films of our generation you'll soon see why this is a must do activity.
With two different tours to choose from you will experience everything Silver Falls Ranch has to offer. You can choose between the 'Hawaiian Discovery Ride' which is 1.5 hours long (approx.) or the 'Silver Falls Ride' which includes stops for swimming and a picnic.
Hawaiian Discover Ride 1.5 Hours
This is a calm ride into the isolated interior of Kalihiwai and Kamookoa Ridge. Tropical botanical gardens and peaceful waterways line this beautiful and lush tropical valley base. With amazing and beautiful views up the islands northern Makaleha mountain range you will need to make sure you bring your camera with you. This tour is approximately one and a half hours long including the short orientation.
Includes: a ride through Kauai's remote interior and fruit juice upon return.
Silver Falls Ride 2 Hours
The best way to break up a beautiful horseback ride into the depths of this tropical paradise. With a stop to relax and refresh and a natural mountain pool and waterfall. You will have the chance to sit down and relax and take in your surroundings as you enjoy a tasty “Local bento-style” picnic.
Includes: a ride to Silver Falls, a swim and a picnic.
Silver Falls Ride 3 Hours
Let's explore Kauai. This ride, which includes a picnic and the opportunity to swim at Silver Falls, is for the explorer in you. It's an excursion that takes you deep into Kauai's interior—on hidden trails through an ancient volcanic caldera to the base of Mount Makaleha. This stunningly scenic ride meanders through exotic natural growth and a variety of indigenous ferns, while wild orchids decorate the way. Take a moment to study and enjoy their magical beauty - these are memories that will last forever.
Includes: a ride through Silver Falls botanical palm garden, a swim and a picnic.

Daily
Check-in: 30 minutes prior to departure.
Long pants recommended. Bring swimsuits and towels for waterfall ride.
Closed toe shoes required. No sandals.
Lunch menu: Baked Teriyaki Chicken (or Teri-Ginger Baked Tofu, by request), Steamed Rice, Chilled Pineapple-Coleslaw, Macadamia Nut Shortbread and assorted island fruit juice offer a healthy and hearty taste of Hawaii. All this served with the spirit of Aloha beneath a palm-thatched hut!
AGE: Must be 7 years old and up. Riding helmets are required if 14 years old and under. Seniors (over 70) must be in strong physical condition. (helmets provided by SFR as requested, for all other participants).

Drive east on Kuhio hwy, cross the long concrete bridge, take the first right and turn on Kalihiwai Ridge. Drive 2.2 Miles to Kamookoa Rd. and turn left.
