If you've ever dreamed of learning to surf there is no better spot on the planet than the north shore of Oahu. With miles of pristine surfing conditions and a pro surfer to help you along the way, Sunset Suzy is a local girl, a great surfer and a wonderfully patient teacher. You're in good hands.
Sunset Suzy is a lifeguard on the world famous North shore of Oahu where she has lived and surfed for the last ten years. She has taught tourists from Ireland to New York how to surf, and enjoy the Hawaiian waters safely.
She is also a professional surfer and competitor in Surf events that are held in Hawaii each year. She is also a stunt women for the Television series Baywatch Hawaii and has performed such stunts as falling off boats and surfing. Suzy has also recently played a Surfer Girl in the movie "Blue Crush".
You'll meet up either at world famous Waimea Bay or at the parking lot for Jameson's by the Sea. You're in for a great time surfing the best waves nature can provide in a mellow and calm atmosphere.

Children under 8 require a private lesson.
All lessons are two hours in length.

Students should bring sunscreen, towel and extra water.

To get to
Waimea Bay from Waikiki or Honolulu:
Take H1 West Approximately 20 miles from Waikiki
Take H2 North towards the north shore
Follow H2 about 7 miles until the freeway ends
Highway turns into HWY 99
Take HWY 99 to Highway 83 (Kamehameha Hwy)
Take the 83 to the North shore
Pass Haleiwa town and go 5 miles
You will see Waimea Bay Beach park on the left
Before big white bridge look for State sign that says Waimea Bay Beach Park
You will find Suzy waiting for you by the tall white lifeguard stand.
To get to Jameson's by the Sea from Waikiki or Honolulu:
Take H1 West Approximately 20 miles from Waikiki
Take H2 North towards the north shore
Follow H2 about 7 miles until the freeway ends
Highway turns into HWY 99
Take HWY 99 to Highway 83 (Kamehameha Hwy)
Take the 83 to the North shore
Turn into Haleiwa at the second light
Look for the first building on the left about a half mile down the road.
