Piiholo Ranch Canopy Tours, which opened in March 2011, and is the newest offering from Piiholo Ranch Adventures. The canopy adventure takes place on an 800-acre, family-owned historic ranch above Makawao town in beautiful upcountry Maui. You will experience a thrilling combination of ziplines, aerial canopy bridges, suspended swinging bridges, access bridges and you will also get to experience the NEW "QUICKjump" as you soar and free fall through the stunning tropical forest canopy and ravines.
We would like to introduce the newest member of the Piiholo Zipline Team, the "QUICKjump!" Come and experience the thrill of this amazing device. The "QUICKjump" gives riders the initial sensation of a "free fall" and then safely lowers them for the remainder of the journey to reach the ground. This exhilarating experience will be one that you do not want to miss! Guests also have the option of rappelling down to the ground if they do not wish to "QUICKjump."

*Wildlife sightings might include axis deer, goats, mountain pua'a (boar), Hawaiian pueo (owls), and nene (geese).
6-Line Adventure Ziplines 1-3 followed by "QUICKjump" after line 3 and finishes with lines 4-6.
You'll zip on six different lines through the beautiful tree canopy and cross aerial canopy bridges on this tour. Fly high over ravines and forest floor and observe native and introduced trees and plants. Part way through you'll come to the newest addition to the Piiholo Zipline family, the "QUICKjump." The "QUICKjump" gives riders the sensation of free falling while lowering them down 40 feet to the ground.

7-line Tree Top Zip Tour
This tour combines begins soaring high above the Kahakapao Valley. Sail through canopy tunnels and land at the Pirate Ship Tree House. You will enjoy 7 different lines ranging from 175 feet to 930 feet!!! Light snack and beverages are provided.
Duration: 2.5 hours by request with groups of 8 individuals.
Xtreme 3-line Canopy Zip & Climb Tour 3 ziplines and Tango Tower
This tour combines the best of our canopy ziplines with the challenges of our climbing tower! You'll zip three canopy lines. Next you'll move to the Tango Tower, our 42-ft high climbing/high ropes adventure. This challenge offers 7 climbs including the Spider Web, Giant’s Ladder, Centipede, Vertebrae Ladder, King's Swing, Inverted Climbing Wall, and Straight Climbing Wall. This tour includes lunch.

Tango Tower with seven unique climbing challenges. Or, if relaxing and taking in the sights is more your style, our Treehouse is sure to please. Built among the trees with three overhanging decks, it’s a great place for photos, kicking-back, and watching the zipline action.
What to Know
Daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
Check In: 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time for signing of waivers, safety briefing and fitting of gear. Guests will first check in at the outpost, and then drive to tour starting point (about 1/4 mile).
Tours go out rain or shine, rain gear is provided as needed. Piiholo Ranch reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to weather or any other unforeseen situation.
Please wear: Long pants are not required, although capris or longer shorts for comfort are recommended. A hat, sunscreen and a light cover-up are recommended.
*Closed toe shoes are required. Vibram FiveFingers, Crocs, water shoes, open toed sandals, etc. are prohibited.
Don't forget your camera! Just make sure it has a strap for safety. Anything dropped on tour is gone for good.
Zipline tours go out rain or shine, rain gear is provided as needed.

All zipline riders must be at least 8 years old, weigh between 50 - 250 pounds, and be in good physical condition. Each participant is weighed before start of tour.
No unaccompanied children under 18.
No pregnant women.
No scuba diving 24 hrs prior to this tour.
No persons with back or neck problems, recent surgeries or any other medical condition which may be aggravated by this activity.
Some moderate physical activity and stair climbing; must be able to carry up to 12 lbs.

Driving into Kahului on Dairy Rd, turn right onto Highway 36 (Hana Highway) and proceed 2 miles.
Turn uphill onto Highway 37 (Haleakala Highway) and drive approximately 7.25 miles.
Watch for the sign to "Historic Makawao Town", and turn left onto Makawao Avenue.
Proceed straight for almost 2 miles and turn right onto Piiholo Road.
You will see the parking lot on the right, at 779 Piiholo Road.
Pull into the parking area in front of the building and
proceed into the store to start your check - in process.
