1 Tank Beginner Dive
Interested in scuba diving but not interested in the high costs or long course involved in becoming certified? This is the perfect tour for you, we offer an amazing introductory experience most classes are even one on one. The lesson is followed by a dive with your instructor.
This lesson and dive is from the beach so you will gradually get used to your surroundings and become comfortable with what you are doing. With trained professional instructors on hand to guide you through this activity is a unique way to see the wildlife of Hawaii, from below!
Afternoon 1 Tank Beach Dive - Beginner, Refresher, or Certified Divers
Explore the waters of Lahaina with the ease of entering from the beach.
This dive adventure allows for divers to enjoy some of Maui's best reef systems. Generally a 35'- 40' dive among the turtles on the plentiful reefs offshore Maui. Dive computers used to allow all divers a maximum bottom time underwater.
What to Know
Check in: at 6:45am or 12:30pm with the Extended Horizon's crew at the ramp at the Mala Wharf in Lahaina.
Price includes: a dive computer, wet suit, BCD, regulator, fins, mask, weights and tank.
Please bring: towel, sunscreen and scuba certification card (if certified)
Do not fly within 18 hours after Scuba diving.
Restrictions: You must complete a PADI Experience Programs Medical Statement/Questionnaire, which includes a medical history section, to participate in scuba diving. If you are a minor, you must have it signed by a parent or guardian.
Scuba diving is an exciting and demanding activity. When performed correctly, applying correct techniques, it is safe. When established safety procedures are not followed, however, there are dangers. To scuba dive safely, you must not be extremely overweight or out of condition. Diving can be strenuous under certain conditions. Your respiratory and circulatory systems must be in good health. All body air spaces must be normal and healthy. A person with heart trouble, a current cold or congestion, epilepsy, asthma, a severe medical problem, or who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, should not dive. If taking medication, consult your doctor before scuba diving.
