If you are visiting the Big Island in the Hawaiian Island chain there are so many unique and absolutely amazing once in a life-time experiences to experience on this beautiful diverse island. Voted one of the top ten things to experience in a lifetime and that can be found only on the Big Island off the Kona Coast, is an evening swimming with the graceful Manta Rays. Join us on on the "Pueo Kai" for a Magical Manta evening experience. We limit this tour to 12 passengers maximum!

Commonly misunderstood as dangerous but not very commonly seen close to shore in mass numbers are the Manta Rays. Although related to the Sting Rays, the Manta Rays are large harmless creatures of the deep. These beautiful and graceful gentle giants have no teeth, barbs, or stingers. Manta Rays are nocturnal filter plankton eaters. Similar to Baleen whales Manta Rays eat Plankton by swimming through the clouds of Plankton. Manta Rays are typically solitary creatures in the deeper waters. However, you will see numerous Manta Rays come in close to shore to feed at night.

The protection and safety of these beautiful sea creatures in their natural habitat is of upmost importance and we practice passive observance at the surface of the water as the Manta Rays twirl, twist and flip through the ocean feeding on Plankton as graceful as a butterfly dancing through water. Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime experience while you are here!
