Diamond Head Luau is held at the Waikiki Aquarium along the beachfront of Waikiki near the Natatorium, across the street from the Honolulu Zoo, and at the base of the iconic Diamond Head. Start your Diamond Head Luau with a Lei greeting and together let us enjoy the authentic Hawaiian Luau practice of gathering together to eat and celebrate a special occasion with family and friends. The Diamond Head Luau is a Farm Fresh dining experience. That means that the your Luau dinner dishes come directly from Farm to Table. Rather than a buffet style enjoy unique dining stations that will present different parts of your meal. At our Farm Fresh or Farm To Table Luau, all the food is locally grown and prepared here in the Hawaiian Islands from the “ono” or delicious “Pupus” or appetizers to dinner. This is a great opportunity to try out some local Hawaiian foods like Sweet Prawns with Hawaiian smoked salt or Poi Shooters with LomiLomi Salmon. The Food stations include a salad station, Kalua Pig carving station, Hot food station, and a fresh fruits and desserts station. Also enjoy the “pupus” or appetizers available after you check in and during the cultural activities.
Admission to the aquarium is included with your Luau admission in either our Standard or Premium packages! Seats sell out fast as we keep our luaus friendly and our level of interaction and Hawaiian hospitality high. Take part of any of our pre-dinner activities and learn a little about Hawaii’s culture by trying a hula lesson or weaving a basket, or making a lei. Also try a sacred and ceremonial drink unique to the Pacific Islands and known to the Hawaiians as Kava. Delicious traditional and local style foods make up your dinner and new experiences with the Polynesian and Hawaiian food culture. Just a short walk from the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Hotels, this beach side sunset luau in the Waikiki Aquarium is an experience everyone in the family will enjoy and you don’t want to miss!
