Kauai ATV will take you on a ride of a lifetime!!! These two amazing tours start in Koloa which is along route 50 just north of Poipu. The 3 hour ‘Koloa Tour’ and the 4 hour ‘Waterfall Tour.’ If you are looking for a private tour also check out our private tour option below!

Koloa Tour – 3 Hours
This scenic tour is a beautiful and adventurous way to see the wonderful nature of the island of Kauai. You will be traversing 13-15 miles of off-road trails that will encompass views you may recognize from some of your favorite Hollywood films and take you through older historic pieces of Kauai. Enjoy beautiful Makai (Ocean) and Mauka (Mountain) views over the stunning landscape. You will venture in an historic sugar cane tunnel and to the largest inland body of water in the Islands of Hawaii. Check in for these tours are 30-45 minutes prior to the tour. Receive a souvenir bandana and poncho with your tour… you are going to need it on this tour!
Included: full rental clothing with collateral, Kauai Kookies snacks and beverages.
Koloa 3hour Tour Times run from:
9:30am – 12:30pm
1:30pm – 4:30pm
Waterfall Tour – 4 Hours
This four hour waterfall ATV adventure in Kauai is a uniquely adventurous and beautiful way to spend the day and explore and visit Kauai. With the most amazing and rugged terrain that will lead you through thick vegetation to the Kahili mountain range expect to get dirty! Completely dirty head to toe. We don’t suggest bringing any expensive sunglasses or jewelry that may get lost in the tour. You will receive a souvenir bandana and poncho on this tour. Don’t hesitate to use them, they will help protect you from the elements. This four hour tour will take you on 23 miles of diverse off road trails where you will get to experience first-hand up & close the diverse flora and climate environs of Hawaii. From the dry farmlands to lush tropical forest and waterfalls. Brief stops will point out famous movie sites, amazing panoramic vistas and snippets of Kauai’s rich history. Enjoy sandwich, chips, snacks and beverages at the base of a private waterfall (weather permitting). Enjoy the cold mountain fresh water while we stop for lunch.

Private Off-Road Tours
If you would like to take your group on a private tour, this is the option. Private tour pricing below is calculated by the hour. So where you see Quantity, please put the amount of hours you would like for your private tour. You must select a minimum of four hours for private tours. If you would like to select more than one vehicle of the same type, example 2 MudBugs, or 2 OhanaBugs then push the Vehicles select down menu. You can choose the quantity of vehicles to add (with the amount of hours) you would like. Please make sure the time you select for each vehicle is the same amount of hours.
You must have a minimum of 4 hours and 2 vehicles to make a private tour. When adding this option to your cart, under the selection of Quantity put how many hours you would prefer. Please select the amount of vehicles of each type you would prefer. Your Private Off-Road tour includes juice & water. What to Know
Daily
Check In: 30 minutes prior to tour at Kauai ATV, 3477A Weliweli Rd, Koloa, HI 96756. Between the Koloa Neighborhood Center and the Discount Variety store.
Vehicle Choices: Indicate in the comment box which vehicle you want for your tour.
Mud Bug – 2 seat dune buggy – Drivers must be 18+ with valid driver’s license, passengers 5 years and up.
Ohana Bug – 3 seat dune buggy – Drivers must be 18+ with valid driver’s license, passengers 5 years and up.
Ohana Bug – 4 seat dune buggy – Drivers must be 18+ with valid driver’s license, passengers 5 years and up.
Provided: Each ATV tour includes Shorts, Shirts, Helmets, goggles & Bandanas. Locally made snacks & beverages also included with tours.
Bring: ID or credit card for collateral for clothing rental. (Included in the cost of the tour.)
Bring bug spray, sunscreen, a towel, water friendly footwear, swimming attire.
Do not bring anything that CAN’T get dirty, wet, stained, bumped or muddy.
Do not bring sunglasses watches, jewelry, wallets or cameras (except disposables).
Restrictions: Drivers must be 18+ with valid driver’s license. Under 16 must have accompanying adult at check in. Children ages 5 and older may ride as passengers in Mud bug or Ohana Bug.
No riders with back problems or recent surgeries, no pregnant women, all ATV drivers must be under 250 lbs. (or combined 620 lbs on 2 seat Mud Bug or 800 lbs total on 4 seat Ohana Bug.)

From West Side about 1 hour drive
Take Hwy 50 (Kaumuali’i Hwy) towards the North for about 12 miles.
Turn right onto Hwy 530 (Koloa Rd) at the Lawai Street light and drive for about 3 miles.
Turn right onto Weliweli Road.
Kauai ATV is the third building on the right side of the road.
From Lihue about a 45 minute drive
Take Hwy 50 (Kaumuali’i Hwy) towards the West for about 10 miles.
Take Hwy 520 (Maluhia Road) until it ends.
Turn left onto Hwy 530 (Koloa Rd)
Turn right onto Weliweli Road.
Kauai ATV is the third building on the right side of the road.
From North Shore about a 45 minute drive
Take Hwy 56 (Kuhio Hwy) towards the South for about 20 miles.
After those 20 miles, Hwy 56 will turn towards the right, stay on Hwy 56 which eventually merges onto Hwy 50.
Follow Hwy 50 towards the West for about 10 miles
Turn left onto Hwy 520 (Maluhia Road) until it ends.
Turn left onto Hwy 530 (Koloa Rd).
Turn right onto Weliweli Road.
Kauai ATV is the third building on the right side of the road.
