Hawaiian Rays Come face to face with these amazing marine creatures, which are actually the docile distant cousins of sharks. You’ll get to snorkel by their side and experience their mysterious personality. You may touch and even feed them too. It’s an incredible experience unlike any other. To swim with these marine creatures that so gracefully glide through the water.

These Rays are not sting rays and are harmless. The program lasts 30 minutes (20 minutes under water). Did you know that rays eat small things like plankton in the water. In this experience feed and snorkel with the reef fish,Touch the Rays, learn about Ray behavior and anatomy and also learn about reef fish anatomy and behavior. Did you know that like Dolphins and Whales, Rays also make fantastic and loud leaps out of the water? The splash of their leaps can sometimes be heard 2 miles away.

Transportation:Transportation from Waikiki and Admission to the Sea Life Park are included in the price of your package. If you would like round-trip transportation from Waikiki just select the free transportation and let us know in a comment box where you will be staying in Waikiki so we can get you a correct pick up location. There are two morning Pick Up times from Waikiki and 2 afternoon return transportation times. First pick up is in the 8:00am hour and the second morning pick up is in the 11:00am hour. The first return transportation to Waikiki leaves the park at 2:30pm and the second at 4:30pm.

Please only bio-degradable sunscreen for the health and safety of our sea animal friends.

RESTRICTIONS & GUIDELINES

Minimum Age: to participate in this program is 4 years (minimum height of 40 inches).

Children 4 to 12 years of age must be accompanied by one paying participant (18yrs+).

No pregnant women allowed to participate in this activity.

Must be able to get in and out of the water and be in good physical condition.

No jewelry, implanted jewelry, Sunglasses, hair-clips, cameras or anything that could potentially fall off is allowed in the interactive programs. All jewelry must be removed prior to getting in the water. If you have jewelry that can not be removed, you will not be able to participate in the programs. There are no refunds for those who can not remove their jewelry. NO nail art that may be dislodged in the pools and harm the animals like limestones. Nail length may not exceed 25% of the width of your nail. Nails must be blunt and not end in a point. Any participant that does not meet nail requirements may not be able to participate. There are no refunds within 48hrs of your activity.

Driving Directions [ show ]

From Waikiki:

1. Take H1 East.
2. H1 becomes Highway 72, continue east through residential area.
3. Residential area will end, continue driving along the coast past Hanauma Bay, the Blow Hole and Sandy Beach, to Makapuu Point.
4. Park will be on the left side of the road, large sign by highway entrance.

Sea Life Park also has several Gift Shops and the Beach Boy Lanai where you can get a refreshing drink or Lunch.

Also please note that Children 0yrs-17yrs can not attend the Park without an accompanying adult 18yrs+.
