Hawaiian Surf Adventures offers access to Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Boards in beginner-friendly learning grounds. Our professional staff will give a basic land review of equipment, balance, paddle and turning techniques, and water safety. “SUPing” is easy from Koko Marina – we are already on the water, so customers just hop on the boards and paddle away on the beautiful waterways of Hawaii Kai’s Maunalua Bay.
The 2 hour lesson options includes a 15-minute land lesson and a private instructor as a guide for the duration of the the rental.
What to Know
Daily
Lesson times: 9:00am, 12:00pm, 2:30pm. Check in at the Koko Marina Shopping Center, Water Sports Center courtyard directly across from the movie theaters.
Transportation: Not included in the price. Bus 22 comes right to Koko Marina or roundtrip transportation is available from Waikiki for an additional cost.
Included: SUP boards with leash, paddle, long sleeve rash guards, life vests available upon request.
Please bring: towel, sunscreen. There is a bathroom upon check in and outdoor shower for afterward.
Instructors are Lifeguard and CPR trained and certified by City and County of Honolulu.
