What better place to get Scuba certified than on the island of Maui. Extended Horizons has a great program with excellent instructors that go at your pace. You can either finish your scuba certification with us or do the entire course here on island. Get trained to scuba dive in 3 short days!
Are you already on your way to becoming a certified diver? We can help! If you have done your classwork and pool work section of the certification course at home you can finish up the four required dives on Maui in two easy days!
We require a referral from your previous instructor and your logbook. We accept most agency certifications and can issue you a PADI or SDI certification upon completion.

Daily Dive Times: 7:00am, 7:30am, 8:00am, 12:30pm.
Call for available times before booking.
instructors: instructors are all CORA/Maui county permitted. instructors go at your pace.
This is a Shore Dive, we will enter the ocean on foot.
Must be able to carry your own gear 30yards.
Parking: Meet us at the shop and We will show you where there is some free parking.
Please Bring: Voucher, swimwear, towels and water for after your dive. You can bring your own underwater camera.
Please use Reef-Safe Sunscreen. This will help keep the reefs and sea creatures we love to see, alive and healthy. Please no aerosol spray sunscreens as they blow on everyone and are not very reef friendly.
Price Includes: Class, Shore Dive (dive computer, fins, wet suit, weights, BCD, regulator, mask.) and Instructors.
(Use the bathroom before diving, once the wetsuit is on it will be much more difficult. There are not bathrooms at the beach of the shore dive.)
Scuba Gear:
Our wetsuits are 5mm long sleeve shorties.
Scuba gear is top of the line, quality, and newer Aqualung & Mares BC’s, oceanic Regulators with depth pressure consul and and octopus. We do have microprene hoods for those who get cold.
If ordering our DIN tanks, or Nitrox 32% blend, or Steel Tanks aka 100’s (we advice for those 210lbs+) please give us a minimum of 48hrs notice.
Restrictions & Guidelines:
Must be Scuba Certified for this tour.
Need to be able to maintain proper buoyancy during your dive.
Must be a Minimum Age of 12yrs.
Children 12-18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
For your own safety Do not fly within 24 hours before or after Scuba diving.
You must complete a PADI Experience Programs Medical Statement/Questionnaire, which includes a medical history section, to participate in scuba diving.
If you are a minor, you must have the medical questionnaire signed by a parent or guardian.
Safety Guidelines:
Scuba diving is an exciting and demanding activity. When performed correctly, applying correct techniques, it is safe. When established safety procedures are not followed, however, there are dangers. To scuba dive safely, you must not be extremely overweight or out of condition. Diving can be strenuous under certain conditions. Your respiratory and circulatory systems must be in good health. All body air spaces must be normal and healthy. A person with heart trouble, a current cold or congestion, epilepsy, asthma, a severe medical problem, or who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, should not dive. If taking medication, consult your doctor before scuba diving.
Please review this Medical Questionnaire to see if you are able to dive with us. If you answer YES to any question on the medical portion, you must bring a doctor’s note stating that you are fit to dive.
