Description
In this small, intimate group tour, Wasabi Tours will take you and your party to the best scenic attractions on the Big Island of Hawaii. You will enjoy visiting a wide variety of landscapes on the Big Island – from waterfalls to rainforests, steam vents, and lava tubes. As we visit each location, our staff will share about Hawaii’s unique culture, geography, and history.
On the Grand Circle Island Tour, we will start out with a visit to Waimea town, Parker Ranch, and the Waipio Valley Lookout . We will then visit the lush Hamakua Coast as we travel to the stunning and world renown Akaka Falls and Rainbow Falls . You will then be treated to lunch at one of our favorite local spots in Hilo, Cafe 100. We will then travel to Hawaii Volcano National Parks, Thurston Lava Tube, the Kilauea Iki lookout, steam vents, Jaggar Museum, and the Halemaumau Crater . On the way back to Kona, we will stop at the uniquely beautiful Punalu’u Black Sand Beach , which is the home to many green sea turtles. Our last stop will be at the Kona Coffee Farms, where you’ll get to taste some of the world-famous Kona coffee to wrap up your day.
What to Know
Daily
Pick-up Location: Pick-ups from major hotels and resorts in Kona and Kohala will begin at 8:00am. Drop offs in Kona will be around 6:00pm and in Kohala around 7:00pm.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, light jacket for cool weather, covered walking shoes required.
Group Size: Tours are capped at 12 people.
Tour Vehicles: Mercedes Sprinter Van or Minivan.
Tour Difficulty: Easy hiking over short distance. All ages welcome.
Inclusions: Lunch at Cafe 100, beverages, snacks, and rain gear.
